When you hear your child has lice, we're sure panic immediately begins to set in. If you have questions about lice, we're here to help!One of the most frequently asked questions we receive is "What do I need to do in order to get rid of lice in my home?"
We've got your answer. Lice are NOT living in your home! You can rest easy tonight! Nits (eggs) need the warmth of your scalp and a food supply (your blood) in order to hatch and survive. Lice want to be in your head, not in your home!
As a precaution, wash all bedding and vacuum as you normally would if someone in your home had head lice. We also recommend changing pillow cases.
